ENR’s new issue interviewed several leaders at large design firms and what steps they are taking to manage during the COVID 19 crisis:
Several great thoughts emerged:
- Set up an internal fund on the company dime to manage costs incurred by staff due to coronavirus infection.
- PTO donation plans aiming at the principals to donate, and to allow internal swapping of time off.
- Weekly companywide online conferences, town halls or “fireside chats” to connect in as personal a method as possible.
- Online non-work activities - image scavenger hunt contest.
